What is e-Notary?

An e-notary is the notarization process where you will visit a commissioned notary public and have your document e-signed and then electronically notarized with a notary’s electronic seal backed by a digital certificate. This is not the same as a Remote Online Notarization. A Remote Online Notarization is completely conducted online. You will not need to physically visit your commissioned online notary public but meet using two-way audio-video communication.
